Fic: An Eye for the Future
Author: dugindeep
Fandom: Supernatural RPF
Pairing: J2
Summary: Jensen has spent the last decade living with visions of the future. He's saved the neighbor's kid falling off a balcony, an old purple-haired lady walking into a car accident, and a landscaper from losing a limb from a chainsaw. He's so accustomed to it that it's just a nuisance at this point.

What's he's not used to are his newest visions starring international tech guru Jared Padalecki. And he's certainly not used to being shot at, cooped up in a cabin alone with the guy, or returning to a forgotten past that may bring him love in the future. All three happen over the course of one week that drudges up the truth behind his visions and offers a second chance to save Jared.

My ramblings: WHAT CAN I SAY ABOUT THE PINCH-HITTING SUPERHERO THAT IS DUGINDEEP? ♥♥♥ *flails around dangerously* I can't thank her enough for not only working so hard and writing so much under a tighter deadline, but for spoiling me absolutely rotten with this fic. FAMOUS GENIUS JARED + GRUMPY PSYCHIC JENSEN! \o/ <33333! JEN!SEN! WITH! A! CANE! *dies* If fandom keeps spoiling me like this, I'mma be impossible. More impossible than I already am, I mean. I wish I wish I wish I'd been able to manage more in addition to the original prompt than slapping together a bunch of shapes and gradients in Inkscape. *kicks self lots and lots*

Thanks to the mod for acting so quickly on saving me from the partner-less abyss, and for running this thing. All the reversebangs \o/!

Oh, and hey, did I mention this fic is everything???

I may have gone overboard on dividers again? XD

Soooooo pretty! I love those colours and I LOVE the gradients! The eye divider is especially awesome. And the prompt has me all fired up to read the fic.

I just bought myself Affinity Designer in the hopes of mastering some clean lines and gradient designing - we'll see. At the moment I'm just fumbling around with it.

Darrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrling. What can I say?

I'd decided to wait until today when my brain was much less fried, yet I'm still at a loss for words because I LOVE YOU and was so excited when I found out it was your piece. The positioning of Jensen, with his hand up to his face, plus the scratchy aesthetic of the drawing just called for me when I heard about the pinch hit. I HAD TO HAVE IT BECAUSE IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL.

I'm delighted that we came together on one of your ideas and it all worked out. I'm so happy I was able to write this for you and to chit chat over emails when discussing writing and ideas and KITTIES. It was just such a lovely pleasure to work with you on this!! We're two for two now!!! I'm happy to go for another wonderful third round with you <33333

I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I REALLY DO LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR BANNERS. THEY ARE SO TECHNO SLICK AND BEAUTIFUL AND I'M IN AWE OF YOUR CRAFT.
oh! Your graphics are super cool! I love them! And I love the cool colors and the gradients... And the original prompt is beautiful and unique. I love it all!! And I'm really excited by the premise of the story, too (and by such an author! Lucky you!! :D). Eee! Can't wait to read it! Thank you for sharing your gorgeous art, as always! ♥
Gorgeous artwork. Love the colouring and the original prompt is amazing. I can totally understand why dugindeep picked it up as a pinch-hit because the joint outcome is outstanding.
Thanks so much for sharing.
*hugs*
Lovely work. I also love having the book cover size art for my ePub : )
Nicely done!!!
